Coasteering is an interesting and fun activity for the whole family. It includes climbing on the rocks and jumping into the sea, side traversing, wild swimming, exploring sea caves and coastline, learning about the intertidal zone and enjoying the environment! You can even catch a crab if you’re lucky to spot it. We start with lower jumps and then upgrade to the height you feel comfortable with. This is a unique activity in Croatia!

This area looks like an abandoned area. It’s been a military camp, but it’s not been in use for many years. At the location, you will see a small parking area in front of the old Austro-Hungarian fort dating from the mid 19th century.
The guide will be there with the car, so you have less steps to take until you reach the beach.If you are not sure which car to look up for, search for a PULA OUTDOOR car sticker.
We kindly ask you to be there about 10min before the start.
Availability
This adventure runs from April until the end of October, when the weather forecast allows our activities outdoors, from Monday to Saturday.
We have Sundays off, but sometimes we can make exceptions for bigger groups (birthdays, bachelor parties, schools etc.)

Participation requirements
We welcome all guests who have good swimming skills and are active, anyone who wants to get to know the Istrian coastline while having fun!
This tour is moderate and guests need to have good swimming skills. However, please be fair to other guests and contact us in case you have special needs or other questions so we can adapt the tour to your needs – a private tour.

Tour Overview
The adventure starts at Fort Ovine (GPS Google maps: 44.861922, 13.810854). There we have a brief 15-minute introduction where the guide shares all the safety instructions, prepares the equipment for the adventure, and warms-up everyone!
SEAGULL’S ROCKS BEACH
Our coasteering adventure starts from the cozy lagoon, first with easy walking, a few lower jumps, exploring the animals of the intertidal zone. Step by step, we’ll approach the famous blue cave of Pula, and prepare for some climbing and higher jumps – if you dare?
MYSTICAL CANYON
After the cave, we head up to the canyon. This magical environment invites us to reveal its secrets, whether it’s by climbing higher or jumping further, there’s always something new to experience! The canyon itself hides a tunnel and we’re going to look up for it!
CRAZY JUMPS & PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
On the way there we have lots to explore and do crazy jumps such as: bomb, penguin, head first, yogi, happy whale, and much more! This part of the adventure gives us great photo opportunities and lots of adrenaline fun!
FINISH AT THE START POINT
After arriving back at our starting point, our adventure finishes. We might be a bit tired, but with big smiles on our faces. Thumbs up and check out some other adventures from our offer!
Important Details
- There are parking lots around our meeting point, which are free of charge!
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour begins, so you can find a parking spot in the area and prepare for the activity
- Suitable for ages between 8 and 60
- Not suitable for people with back problems, vertigo, asthma, and similar health issues
- Children and youth up to the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult on the tour

We wanted to go canyoning, but that was to far away, then we saw the coasteering at tripadvisor. It was defenitely as cool and fun as canyoning! We had the luck we could go in september, so it was just the two of us and the awesome guide Noel. We went early in the morning and there were no other groups in the sea, so we could fully enjoy the experience. Thank you team Pulaoutdoor!
Best excursion on this vacation! Fun-filled, exhilerating, and Majde (guide) took great care of us. We learned about the history and area, conquered our fears if we wanted to, challenged ourselves, enjoyed the outdoor, stayed cool in the ocean when it’s 35+ in the city, and received the best care from a local.
Our children, aged 11 and 17, had an incredible morning with Madja. It was the highlight of their holiday and they talked about it non-stop for the rest of the trip! From the online booking to the welcome on the day the whole process was very easy and efficient. Madja met us on arrival, we had no concerns about leaving the children with her. She is obviously very experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic with it. The activity was adrenaline fuelled mixed with advice about safety and technique. The children also loved the information about the local history and the wildlife. The equipment provided was good quality and in good condition and the safety procedures were all explained throughly. I would wholeheartedly recommend this activity and the company.
