We took the night Glow tour and it was wonderful. Me, my wife and 14yo, 12yo and 10yo children. They simply loved it. It’s really one of those “very unusual” experiences that I’m sure they will remember for a very long time. To be able to swim at night inside a cave was surreal. Highly recommended.

Meeting point
The adventure starts at Valovine Beach, at our KAYAK & SUP beach rental centre (GPS Google maps: 44.861922, 13.810854).
When you reach the small roundabout and a bus stop in front of campsite Arena Stoja, Pula, please follow the road to the right (first roundabout exit) for about 300m until you reach us on the beach.

We prefer groups of 8 people, so we can keep it cozy enough to have the chance to get to know everyone.
Participation requirements
This tour is created for adventurous people, with some experience in sports and at least basic motorical & swimming skills. Both adults and children are welcome!
Please consider taking a private tour or let us know in advance if you have/need other requirements, can’t swim, don’t practice any sport on a regular basis etc. Be fair to other guests.

Tour Overview
We’ll have a brief 15-20 minute introduction so we can get to know each other, learn or refresh the basics of paddling and talk through the safety instructions. Once that is done, paddling towards the sunset sky can begin!
SUNSET KAYAKING
Our first stop is near the cliffs, where we enjoy the stunning colours in the sky. Sitting in the kayaks gives us the opportunity to relax and take amazing photos, while the sun touches the sea.
KAYAKS GLOW IN THE CANYON
When the daylight is over, we turn on the lights and paddle along the coastline with illuminated kayaks which allows us to see under the sea surface, enjoying the night sky away from the city lights and all the crowds. Maybe even a fish ends up in your lap! 🙂
NIGHT SWIMMING
On the way back, on the sandy-bottomed beach near the start point, the enthusiastic ones will have the chance to jump from the kayaks for a swim in the sea. We’ll take some video clips and show you a summer game locals like to play!
FINISH LINE
At the end of the activity, it’s time to pack up the equipment, change into dry clothes and share the final info. Thank you!
Important Details
- There are parking lots around our meeting point, which are free of charge!
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour start time so you can park, find us, and dress for the activity
- Suitable for ages between 7 and 70
- Not suitable for people with back problems, vertigo, heavy asthma, and similar health issues
- Children up to the age of 14 must be accompanied by adults in the same kayak
- Children and youth under 18 years of age must be accompanied by adults on tour

Few years ago we did a coasteering tour with Pula Outdoor and it was great. This time we chose night glow kayaking to the cave and this experience was even better than the first one. I have never seen so many bright stars and a large orange moon as it started rising at the finish of the tour. Thank you Majda and Tea for a great time 🙂
